As little data as possible.

MDRUDW uses no advertising trackers, visitor profiles or analytics cookies. This policy explains which data may nevertheless be processed for technical operation or when you contact MDRUDW.

Controller.

Hosting and server logs.

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes connection data required for technical operation. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system. Processing is necessary to deliver the website securely, identify errors and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. The hosting provider processes these data as a processor. Logs are deleted when they are no longer required for these purposes, unless statutory retention duties or a specific security incident require longer storage.

Contact.

If you contact MDRUDW by email or telephone, your information is processed to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. The data are deleted once the enquiry has been concluded, unless statutory retention duties apply.

Partnership enquiry form.

The partnership form can transmit your name, company or organisation, email address, website or social-media profile, type of partnership, description of your idea, preferred timeframe and optional project scope to partners@mdrudw.de. These details are not stored in the website database. After successful submission, an automatic acknowledgement is sent to the email address provided.

To prevent automated misuse, the form uses a short-lived one-time token, an invisible control field and request counters limited by IP address and email address. The technical counters contain timestamps only, are retained for no more than one hour and are not used for advertising or profiling. The form accepts no attachments and uses no external CAPTCHA provider.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns pre-contractual steps; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in securely processing genuine partnership enquiries. Email correspondence is deleted once the enquiry has been concluded, unless statutory retention duties apply.

Shop and downloads.

Free download

A free product requires no account, newsletter or Stripe checkout. A random download link can be used once and remains valid for no more than twelve hours.

No personal success tracking

The internal measurement system stores no IP address, device identifier, referrer, browser profile or individual browsing history.

Anonymous daily totals

Product views, issued download links, completed downloads, shares and support clicks are counted only as totals per day and product.

Limited retention

Anonymous daily totals are removed automatically after 180 days and are not sent to advertising networks or third-party analytics services.

The technical delivery of downloads and protection against misuse are based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Once generated, the anonymous totals described above contain no personal data.

Technical quality measurement.

For LCP, CLS and INP, MDRUDW stores anonymous histogram totals by day and page type only. No individual measurement, IP address, user agent, device identifier or cookie is stored. Aggregates are removed after 90 days and used solely to improve loading speed and visual stability.

Local settings and offline use.

Language, display and offline preferences may be stored exclusively on your device in local browser storage. A service worker may cache previously accessed public files for offline use. These local data are not transmitted to MDRUDW for profiling and can be removed through your browser or website-data settings.

External links.

Links to Polarsteps, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or a voluntarily enabled external support page establish a connection to the relevant provider only after you select the link. That provider's privacy terms also apply from that point. MDRUDW embeds no advertising trackers or social-media pixels on these legal pages.

Recipients and international transfers.

Personal data are made available only to service providers required for hosting, technical delivery or a service initiated by you. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place only under the legal requirements of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. External links do not cause a transfer until you open the relevant link.

Your rights.

Access and copy

You may request information about personal data being processed and obtain a copy.

Rectification and erasure

You may have inaccurate data corrected and request erasure where no obligation to retain the data applies.

Restriction and portability

Where the legal requirements are met, you may restrict processing or receive data you provided in a portable format.

Objection

You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. MDRUDW does not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
